Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before using our website or booking any of our services. These Terms explain your rights and responsibilities as a client of Braids and More GH, and ours as your service provider. By engaging with us, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms.
1. About These Terms
These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the Braids and More GH website (braidsandmoregh.com) and any services provided by us, whether booked online, by phone, via WhatsApp, or in person at our salon.
By accessing our website or booking an appointment with us, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our website or services.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Ghana, including the Ghana Contracts Act 1960 (Act 25) and applicable consumer protection regulations.
2. Our Services
Hair extensions required for our braiding services are provided by Braids and More GH.
- Knotless Braids, Boho Braids, Butterfly Locs, and all styles listed on our Services page.
- Hair care consultations and aftercare advice.
- Supply of hair extensions where agreed at the time of booking (at additional cost).
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any service at any time without prior notice.
3. Appointments & Bookings
All appointments are subject to availability and must be confirmed by a member of our team. A booking is only confirmed once you receive verbal or written confirmation from us.
- Advance booking: We strongly recommend booking in advance to secure your preferred date and time.
- Walk-ins: Walk-in clients are welcome but cannot be guaranteed a slot.
- Arrival: Please arrive on time for your appointment. Late arrivals may result in a shorter service or rescheduling at our discretion.
- No-shows: Failure to attend a confirmed appointment without prior notice may affect your ability to book future appointments.
- Stylist requests: We will do our best to accommodate stylist preferences but cannot guarantee availability of a specific stylist.
4. Cancellations & Rescheduling
We understand that plans change. However, to respect the time of our stylists and other clients, we ask that you observe the following:
- Cancellations: Please notify us as early as possible if you need to cancel. Last-minute cancellations (less than 24 hours before your appointment) may be subject to a cancellation fee at our discretion.
- Rescheduling: You may reschedule your appointment subject to availability. Please contact us at least 24 hours before your appointment.
- Salon cancellations: In the rare event that we need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, we will notify you as soon as possible and offer you an alternative date.
5. Pricing & Payment
Prices may vary depending on the client’s selected hairstyle, length, size, volume, special requests, or any changes made to the original request. Any price difference will be communicated to the client.
All prices are quoted in Ghana Cedis (GHS) and are inclusive of applicable taxes.
- Quotes: Pricing is provided upon enquiry. Final pricing is confirmed at the time of booking or on arrival, following a consultation.
- Hair extensions: If you require us to supply hair, the cost of extensions will be added to your service fee and agreed in advance.
- Payment: Full payment is due upon completion of service unless otherwise agreed. We accept cash and mobile money payments.
- Price changes: We reserve the right to update our prices at any time. Any price changes will not affect confirmed bookings.
6. Client Responsibilities
Clients may come with clean hair or request a hair wash at the salon. Hair washing is optional and not compulsory. External hair extensions are not accepted. All hair extensions used for our braiding services are provided by Braids and More GH.
We ask that you:
- Arrive with clean, detangled hair unless otherwise advised.
- Disclose any scalp conditions, allergies, or sensitivities before your appointment so we can advise appropriately.
- Bring any hair extensions you wish to use, if not purchasing from us.
- Follow the aftercare advice provided by your stylist to maintain your style.
- Treat all salon staff with respect. We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone behaving in a disrespectful or abusive manner.
7. Health & Safety
The health and safety of our clients and staff is our top priority.
- If you have any active scalp infections, open wounds, or contagious conditions, please reschedule your appointment until you have recovered.
- If you experience any discomfort, pain, or allergic reaction during your service, please inform your stylist immediately so we can adjust or stop the treatment.
- We use professional-grade products and maintain high hygiene standards at all times.
- Braids and More GH is not liable for reactions to hair products where a client has not disclosed a known allergy or sensitivity prior to the service.
8. Satisfaction & Complaints
Your satisfaction is important to us. If you are not happy with any aspect of your service, please raise it with us before leaving the salon so we can address it.
- In-salon: Concerns raised during or immediately after a service will be addressed by our team on the spot wherever possible.
- After leaving: If you notice an issue after leaving the salon, please contact us within 48 hours. We will do our best to resolve the issue fairly.
- Refunds: Refunds are assessed on a case-by-case basis. We do not offer refunds for completed services where the client was satisfied at the time of payment.

9. Intellectual Property
All content on this website — including text, images, logos, and graphics — is the property of Braids and More GH or used with permission, and is protected by applicable copyright laws.
- You may not reproduce, distribute, or republish any content from this website without our prior written consent.
- You may share links to our website and tag us on social media, provided you do so in a fair and respectful manner.
- Gallery images showcasing our work may not be used commercially without written permission from Braids and More GH.
10. Third-Party Links & Services
Our website may contain links to third-party websites or embed third-party services such as Google Maps and Instagram. These are provided for your convenience only.
- We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or terms of any third-party website or service.
- Visiting third-party links is at your own risk. We recommend reviewing their terms and privacy policies independently.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by Ghanaian law:
- Braids and More GH is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from the use of our services or website.
- Our total liability to you for any claim arising from a service shall not exceed the amount you paid for that specific service.
- We are not liable for loss or damage to personal belongings brought into the salon.
- Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for death, personal injury caused by our negligence, or fraud.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. The most current version will always be available on this page, with the “Last updated” date revised accordingly.
Continued use of our website or services after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
